On an evening that saw PokerStars have to cancel many of their tournaments halfway through, there was better luck for poker ambassadors Chris Moorman and Patrick Leonard as the Brits took down events on their respective partner sites, 888poker and partypoker.

Due to a Distributed Denial of Service across the PokerStars network, a high number of tournaments including the Sunday Million, Sunday Warm-Up, High Roller and Bounty Builder High Roller events were canceled during play with refunds and prizemoney distributed based on the client’s tournament cancellation procedure.

All-time PocketFives.com money-leader and 888poker ambassador Chris Moorman, who recently became the first player to cross the $15 million online earnings mark, won the flagship $1,050 $80,000 gtd The Whale for $26,000 after a heads-up battle with Rodrigo ‘sonmonedass’ Perez. Moorman got the better of his opponent Perez who took away $16,800, with ‘Madeon1994‘ banking $12,000 in third.

partypoker ambassador Patrick Leonard also had a good result on the client he represents after taking down the $2,500 Super Sunday High Roller following a heads-up chop with his fellow BITB owner Samuel ‘JHelppi’ Vousden. On a final table that featured ‘probirs‘ and current PocketFives no. #2 world ranked ‘HellmuthTheGr8‘. ‘z-boooo‘ was able to take third-place for $36,071 before the BITB battle occurred. After agreeing to a deal, Leonard got the better of Vousden, who took away $36,071.15, with the remaining share of $48,078.86 going to the victor.

Chelsea72‘ won nearly $39,000 across partypoker after achieving gold and silver medals. The win came in the $215 Sunday Warm-Up for $18,850 after they defeated ‘zatochka1980’ heads-up, who banked $13,420 as runner-up, withGeleeeetaking $9,200 and the bronze medal. ‘Chelsea72’ added another $20,000 to their bankroll not long after having took second-place in the 163 player field $1,050 Bounty High Roller before ‘JimyTransaction‘ secured victory for $16,46396 + $23,676.25 (in bounties earned).

Matveichuk ‘EyeofSkadi’ Roman chopped the 888poker $215 Sunday Mega Deep for $18,084, before bowing out in second-place. ‘xxXAQAxx‘ took the bronze medal for $11,696, before the heads-up money deal was agreed. ‘HomoDeus‘ was the eventual winner from the 544 entrants, and walked away with their share of the prizepool worth $18,363.
