I found reading books helped my game the most, books like harrington on holdem, winning poker tournements one hand at a time (by rizen apestyles and pearljammer, this book is especially good for internet poker) and of course the poker bible, doyle brunson's super system. If you do ever get the chance do get out to vagas, you will love it, obviously stick to the poker rooms don't become a total degen and spank all your roll on roulet, late june early july is the best time to go due to the world series providing a huge poker boom and buzz around the city, lots of little fishies, do watch out though there are some serious sharks at the higher stakes though, if you go to the ballagio go check out the boys like barry greenstien playing in the hi roller lounge at $1000/$2000 tables (serious baddasses).
